it has been a week since i started JC life..
for NYJC, it was the week of academic orientation, which means we got to go to different venues for different lectures. on the first day, we hav a full talk day plus haif an hour of school tour. from welcoming speech to introduction of various subject. Also on that day, we got to pick our subject. After much consideration, i have finally decide to take the same subject as huiyan. we took 4H2, namely, econs maths chem and history. i know our combination is kind of weird/rare, as in alot of ppl is choosing chem phy econs and math, budden we didnt. it is because, we rmb how we struggered the last minute for phy last year, and so we decided not to take up physics. hopefully we had made the right chioce. from the second day onwards, we has got lectures! hmm nothing much to mention about the lectures, except that the air-condition in the LTs, is really freezing me.

even though for the few days, we were being divided into different OG, but then we dont seems to hav made any friend! it is because we also see our OG friends early in the morning for 30min, then we are free to go. when we are free to go, we would definitely go to join the gang of friends from our secondary school. therefore, no new friend made for the week except for 1. thats yinqi, this is her hanyupinyin. she is fanny OG de friend, and now she is our friend!!

oya, we got to know our class allocation ytd. and guess what, i got into the same class as huiyan!! omg, got stuck with her for another two year! but then that would be good, isnt it. with 2 ppl together, we can easily make friends with the others, cause our courage would become bigger! cheers for being in the same class as her! :)

next week would be a orientation week! first day, i guess it would be orientation as usual,playing games like ice-breaking and etc. can u imagine u are goin to play game which u once teach and tell others to play, i guess the feeling would be quite weird! then second day, we will be goin to the sentosa!! yeah, can go build sand castle!!! shld be quite fun ba!! third day, CCA bazaar!! i am wondering which CCA shld i join. afterall, there is no point system for joinin cca now, and what we are doin now is for the seek of our archievement area! i am thinkin of volunteering myself to organise the sport carnival for primary sch kid, but the main problem is i duno which teacher i shld go to. hahahas. on thurs, we will be havin disco night as the college! i wonder how would it be, but i think it would be fun too! then on the friday, there would be some kind of seminar goin on, in which we would attend talks tgt with the J2. though not very exciting, but worth looking for.

after the one week in NY, i feel that the school cares abt their student alot, especially in terms of welfare. can u imagine reporting to sch at 8.30 or sometime 9.00 in the morning. and havin movie treat in the school theatre now and then... hahas in addition, the school treat us like young adult, hence there isnt a school rule officially for us to follow. i think it is quite good, dont u think so? hahas hope that i would spend the rest of my 2 years, happily in NY!!
